These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AI Daily & News (the "Service"), operated by Jacksen ("we", "us"). By subscribing to or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

AI Daily & News delivers a daily email briefing of AI-related news aggregated from public sources (including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Meta AI, arXiv, Hugging Face, and GitHub) together with an editorial summary generated by a third-party AI model. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the content.

2. Account

To use the Service you must provide a valid email address and confirm ownership of it via the verification link we send. One account is permitted per email address. You are responsible for the security of your inbox.

3. Free Trial and Paid Subscription

• New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial starting from the date of email verification.
• After the trial, continued access requires a paid Pro subscription at USD $5 per month, billed monthly in advance (billing integration is currently in testing).
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no further charges will be made.

4. Refunds

Because a 7-day free trial is offered before any charge, we generally do not provide refunds for paid periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at the address below and we will review the case individually.

5. Unsubscribing

You may unsubscribe at any time via the one-click link at the bottom of every email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing ends delivery immediately and cancels any active paid subscription at the end of the current billing period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the content of the Service without written permission; (b) scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the Service; (c) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.

7. Intellectual Property

Source materials linked in the briefing remain the property of their respective authors and publishers. The editorial summary, selection, layout, and branding of AI Daily & News are our property. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to read the briefings you receive.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute investment, legal, medical, or professional advice of any kind. AI-generated summaries may contain errors. Always verify important information at the original source before acting on it.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify the Service, pricing, or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may terminate your account at any time by unsubscribing.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
